Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) and A8+ (2018) have been launched. This is a global launch, with the phones going on sale in South Korea, which is Samsung’s home market, first. But soon the company is expected to bring them to other markets, including India, because the new A8 and the A8+ are very important phones for Samsung.
Samsung has not yet announced the date of availability or prices of the Galaxy A8 and the Galaxy A8+ but chances are that the phone is going on sale from January. As far as the specifications are concerned, the two smartphones don’t differ a lot. The A8 comes with a 5.6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 1080×2220 pixel resolution, while the A8+ is a little bigger and comes with 6.0-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with the same resolution.
A8 and A8+ come with a 16MP + 8MP F1.9 dual front cameras. The users can switch between the two cameras as and when required. The dual front camera of the A8 and A8+ will allow users to capture selfies with blurred background. A8 and A8+ comes in two variant 32GB and 64GB which is coupled with 4GB RAM each. The storage is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card. The Galaxy A8 is backed by a 3,000mAh battery, while the Plus variant packs a 3,500mAh battery.
